Rain Shed….

Hello my lovely fellow bloggers!! I hope you’ll are safe and doing great.

The day we met,
Rain shed.
I loved your smiles,
And wanted to be with you for miles.
The way you held me,
To be with me.
It was surreal,
Felt like no one had held me for real.
You were gone when,
I hadn’t realized it then.
I wished for you,
And that I could have completed my every wish with you.
I don’t miss you,
Cause a part of me would always be with you.
You didn’t leave me empty handed to grieve for something,
But rather you left me with memories of everything.
I never wish that we hadn’t met,
Because from the beginning we knew we were not a set.
But it would have been easier,
If we knew it would have been this messier.
I cherish you now but a time will come,
When it would be blurry and I would be left with only memories of some.
Always you,
But not forever you……..

Wao such deep and complex emotions said so beautifully and simply.
No negativity for the one who left but still knowing that they can be cherished but can’t be forever and the memories might get blurry.
This is poem is a reflection if healing, learning and growing.

Wonderful… universal message, too… I love how the poem begins with “The day we met,
Rain shed.”

And then the shape of the lines is almost like a mountain, a watershed, in other words… just lovely.

So powerful. I wish I had that guts to say this.

I loved the whole poem mystery girl. From tip to toe it’s beautiful.
