…..the realisation….

Trigger warning:- The middle part of this poem is dark but the ending is bright.

The desire, the happiness that this day used to give me,
Today, nothing is the same thee.
I don’t know how, when, why, what, where it happened,
But yet something happened,
Destroying me completely.
Today, I realised that everything is incomplete.
From my soul to my happiness,
Everything is temporary.
Today I realised that no matter what,
How much you give someone,
How much you care for them,
Everyone is gonna break you slowly.
Some may be faster than the others.
And guess what the best part is,
The pain that hurts the heart most is the one given by your heart.
This realisation made me stronger yet weaker and weaker,
Like an empty beaker,
Throbbing in pain,
It dawned upon me, hanging up the mane,
Is for the vain,
Sitting back, taking the train,
Is the only way,
To help you realise you are much more,
Much much more is your worth,
You are who you are,
And f**king nobody has the right to tell you who you are,
Carrying up my head high, realising it was me, who will be with me always, everywhere and forever,
And now it didn’t matter if someone was there or not.
So, after the restless night, I went to bed, waking up to peaceful morning.
